Below are comments some of my guests have made after fishing with me. I hope that you and I can make some great memories this summer!

"We're so pleased to have these pictures to remind us of the trip and have been telling everyone how great it was. We'll definitely plan on next year!

"Hey John,
That was unbelievable smallmouth bass fishing we experienced. As mentioned in previous communications before meeting for our float trip, my wife and I have had very little fishing experience. What a day! Those smallmouth attack with such fury. What a winning combination. A beautiful river, beautiful scenery, a comfortable, partly sunny day in the low 80's, consistent heart stopping smallmouth action, (these were not the toddlers associated with our past smallmouth fishing experience. These fish were in the two to four pound range and ferocious), a great guide and a fantastic, sit-down, streamside lunch, served on a table with a table cloth, china and sterling flatware, in a setting no picture could do justice. I cannot imagine anyone doing it any better. Thank you so much John for a day we will never forget.

Sincerely,
John & Karen Henderson
Plainfield, New Hampshire"
"I've had the privilege of fishing with John Marshall many times now, and there is no one who I feel more comfortable with out on a river. He's passionate about the fishing, has an expert's quick eye, but is also patient and generous, which makes him an ideal teacher for the beginner. I know my wife and son, both beginners, love fishing with him. A trip with John is an educational experience, for anglers of all abilities - educational and fun."

"Dear Mr. Marshall,
Despite the unseasonable weather the past two weeks we had a picture - perfect day for the 19th Annual Chick Miller Golf Tournament at the Quechee Club on May 17th. How lucky we were. The Tournament is Mt. Ascutney Hospital's biggest fundraising event and we want to sincerely thank you for your continued support and generosity as a Birdie sponsor. Due to your support, we raised $27,500. for the Hospitals Medical Equipment Fund. You'll be glad to know that this amount surpasses last year's total. Sponsorship is our main source of income for the golf tournament so we could not have had this level of success without you. Thank You for once again taking part.

Director, Marketing and Development"
"...Kim and I had a great time on the river that day. We will definitely be contacting you again next summer for more great fishing."

"Dear John,
A brief note to thank you for an excellent float trip on the Upper Connecticut. You were really right on the money with your advice and fly selection. And then, I'll always enjoy being on a river with two good men, soaking up the beauty, the flow of it, let alone the trout.

Let's hope we fish together soon!

All best,
Walter - Lyme, New Hampshire"
"We had a great time on Sunday. We normally don't spend a lot of time relaxing, but that was wonderful for both of us. You are a super guide, superb cook, and very knowledgeable naturalist and fisherman. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip."

D & J Farnsworth,
VT

"Bob and I really enjoyed every minute of our time with you. You are a wonderful guide and friend, plus a very fine casting instructor to say nothing of the unbelieveable streamside lunches. Have a great summer and all the best to you and Sue."

Kind Regards,

"Dear John,
The recipients of your fishing excursion, donated as an auction item for the Annual Chick Miller Memorial Golf Tournament, have reported on their trip with great enthusiasm. Your generosity in donating this trip is greatly appreciated and contributed to us raising our largest amount of money for this tournament to date. You can be assured that both Olive Miler and the Farnsworths appreciate your generous donation. Thank You.

Sincerely,
Mary Helen Wheeler - Development Assistant"
"Dear John,
On behalf of the NH - VT Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society, I would like to thank you for participating as a panelist for our Water Usage Conflict Resolution Workshop. From talking with many of the partiicipants afterwords, the conference was extremely informative, non confrontational, and relaxed. This can largely be attributed to the professionalism of the panelists.

Thank you once again. If there is anything that the Soil and Water Conservation Society can assist you with, please do not hesitate to call on me. It was nice meeting you. Enjoy the summer and our rivers and lakes.

Sincerely,
Nick Comerci"
