That was unbelievable smallmouth bass fishing we experienced. As mentioned in previous communications before meeting for our float trip, my wife and I have had very little fishing experience. What a day! Those smallmouth attack with such fury. What a winning combination. A beautiful river, beautiful scenery, a comfortable, partly sunny day in the low 80's, consistent heart stopping smallmouth action, (these were not the toddlers associated with our past smallmouth fishing experience. These fish were in the two to four pound range and ferocious), a great guide and a fantastic, sit-down, streamside lunch, served on a table with a table cloth, china and sterling flatware, in a setting no picture could do justice. I cannot imagine anyone doing it any better. Thank you so much John for a day we will never forget.

Despite the unseasonable weather the past two weeks we had a picture - perfect day for the 19th Annual Chick Miller Golf Tournament at the Quechee Club on May 17th. How lucky we were. The Tournament is Mt. Ascutney Hospital's biggest fundraising event and we want to sincerely thank you for your continued support and generosity as a Birdie sponsor. Due to your support, we raised $27,500. for the Hospitals Medical Equipment Fund. You'll be glad to know that this amount surpasses last year's total.
